On this day in 2015, the high reached at least 80 degrees for the ninth day in a row while the low temperature of 71 degrees was a record warm minimum for the date. The next day, the high would reach 90 and the low of 71 was yet another record warm minimum. The 10-day warm spell helped that May become the warmest on record.
